Red Bull has launched a new website offering fans the opportunity to gain an insight into what it's really like to take to the waves.
Using 360-degree video technology, visitors to the site can follow professional big wave surfers as they ride the waves at Tahiti's Teahupoo surf break.
Enlisting the help of Jamie O'Brien, Jamie Sterling, Raimana Van Bastolaer and Ian Walsh, the organisation filmed their experiences of surfing in the area.
Josh Kendrick, athlete marketing manager for Red Bull, said: "We have captured a totally new perspective of riding inside the barrel - the most sacred place in surfing."
Viewers can control the camera and "become participants in the action" themselves, he added.
Earlier this month, Red Bull noted that both Mick Fanning and Kelly Slater had both started the ASP season well.
The site also highlighted the performances of Andy Irons, stating that he is "back and better than ever".
