Dean Morrison has been signed up to the Joistik Surfboards team, it has been announced.
The ASP World Championship Tour surfer has joined up after some good results on the boards at the end of last year, including a runner-up place in the Pipe Masters.
Nick Blair, shaper and designer, said: "We're thrilled to have Dean join the Joistik team. I am stoked to be working with Deano. He is super talented and the feedback he provides on the high performance boards is invaluable."
He added that both him and Morrison are "looking forward to the coming year".
Joistik Surfboards is located on the Gold Coast, a short walk away from Snapper, where the first contest of the ASP season is currently underway.
Morrison faces fellow Australian Dane Reynolds in the third round of the competition after winning his first round heat against Kieren Perrow and Daniel Wills. Reynolds is in his debut season on the World Championship Tour.
