The world's biggest surfing event for people over the age of 35 is set to go off in Peru at the end of this month.
Teams from all over the world are set to compete at the ISA World Masters Surfing Championships which is to run from March 29th to April 6th at Punta Rocas.
Fernando Aguerre, ISA President, said: "I'm really happy that ISA world team championships, also known as the Olympics of Surfing, are coming back to Peru."
He added that it has been 43 years since the "famous" International Surfing Federation World Championship at Punta Rocas was held.
Included in the divisions of the competition are the masters for men aged 35 years and older and the grand masters which is for men aged 40 and over.
The ISA is a governing authority for the world of surfing as well as other water activities such as bodyboarding.
