The European surfers on the ASP World Championship Tour (WCT) were left to look back on a disappointing Rip Curl Pro event at Bells Beach.
Jeremy Flores produced the best display out of the Euroforce surfers, reaching the fourth round before being knocked out.
Aritz Aranburu was did not compete in the tournament due to injury but Miky Picon and Tiago Pires did take part and were put out of the event in round two.
Flores was knocked out by the 2006 ASP Rookie of the Year Bobby Martinez and earns himself an equal-ninth place finish.
The Frenchman maintains an impressive start to the season after his third placed finish at the Quikilver Pro.
Martinez went on to beat current ASP world champion Mick Fanning in the quarter-finals.
The next stop on the ASP WCT is the Billabong Pro Teahupoo in Tahiti but the four surfers will have two months to prepare for the event.
